Czech arms manufacturer DSS has unveiled the ultra-lightweight PZD Mk24 machine gun, which has been reduced in weight by 30% compared to its 5.56mm calibre counterparts. Prague-based DSS has introduced its new flagship model, the PZD Mk24, which combines the main features of a submachine gun with the ergonomics and weight of an assault rifle.
The Czech company DSS presented its latest model of the PZD Mk24 light machine gun at the Vietnam Defence Expo 2024 in Hanoi. This weapon features a significantly reduced weight and is 30% lighter compared to other 5.56mm calibre machine guns.
